The Partners of Clean Energy Advantage

Peter is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Clean Energy Advantage Partners.  Peter was also the founder of New Resource Bank (acquired by Amalgamated Bank), the US’ first green commercial bank.  He has over 30 years of energy sector experience, with over a decade in finance and investing at Credit Suisse and JP Morgan Chase and as an engineer with the California Air Resources Board and Chevron.  Peter serves on the boards of the Climate Action Reserve, the Christensen Fund and East Bay Regional Parks Foundation.  Peter graduated from UC Berkeley  (BS Chemical Engineering and Materials Science) and Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School (MPA)

Scott Brown

Scott is the Co-founder of Clean Energy Advantage Partners.  Scott is also the CEO and Managing Partner of New Energy Capital Partners.  Earlier in his career, Scott served as the founding Executive Vice President at Solar Cells (now First Solar), the President of Glasstech Solar. Scott was a member of the Advisory Council of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory of the U.S. Department of Energy. Prior to his career in the renewable energy industry, Scott was a consultant at Bain & Company. Scott graduated from Dartmouth College (BA in Mathematics and Russian Studies) and Harvard Law School (JD).

Danny Kennedy

Danny is the Chief Energy Officer of New Energy Nexus (formerly the California Clean Energy Fund, “CalCEF”).  CalCEF was a co-founding organization of Clean Energy Advantage Partners.  Previously, Danny was the co-founder of Sungevity, an innovative solar company and Powerhouse, a leading solar business accelerator. Danny also has extensive experience in the environmental movement as Campaigns Manager for Greenpeace Australia and Director of the Project Underground.  Danny is a graduate of Macquarie University in Australia (BSc Human Geography)
